İkarus

"Ikarus" is from the debut solo EP of Uygar Sakarya, the songwriter and guitarist of U-Dönüşü.

Reinterpreting the well-known tragedy from Greek mythology as a rock song, it reflects the themes of arrogance, the intoxication of power, and hubris—believed to have unfolded over the Aegean Sea.

Inspired by the legendary figure Icarus, the singer-songwriter from Izmir presents two Turkish rock ballads alongside the title track in this EP.

Written and performed by Uygar Sakarya, the songs were produced and arranged by the renowned musician and producer Cenk Eroğlu.

The recordings feature Uygar Sakarya, Cenk Eroğlu, and Vladimir Ruzicic Kebac. Released under the UkonRecords label, the EP is available on digital platforms.
