Yalan Dünya

"Yalan Dünya" was written by Ufuk Kaytanlı for the legendary comedy series Yalan Dünya, created by Gülse Birsel, who also shared the lead role with some of Turkey's greatest actors. The guitars were played and recorded by Uygar Sakarya, and the solo, originally designed as a chorus from another one of Uygar’s songs, fit the vibe of the track so well that it stayed as it was. Yalan Dünya was first performed in the 7th episode of the series, during the Yalan Kafe scene, and quickly became one of U-Dönüşü’s most beloved and listened-to songs. When the band’s core lineup returned to the studio in the 2010s, they decided to re-record the song, and it was released again in 2022 with a fresh version.
